Digimon
Weird, but cool show.

Now I have to admit like most anime shows, my personal experience with this one is
very limited. I got two volumes way back when I signed up for Columbia House Anime
Video Club, like back in the 90's. I only got the two volumes, but they sent me Volume
2 and Volume 3, so I missed the first few episodes. Even still the six or so episodes I
did watch were all great. I liked how the show built up really fast, unlike most shows
that start slow and take forever to get anywhere (DBZ I'm looking at you) this show
took off right away.

Now there was a time when our local Hastings would rent anime shows and The
Slayers was my favorite that they had so I did end up renting the first volume and
then a couple of the movies. Unfortunately they didn't have a very decent selection so
I ended up being totally lost and gave up on the series. Now that I have high speed
internet at my disposal I have tried to locate all those episodes I missed, to no luck.
Turns out if you search Slayers you mostly find Buffy the Vampire Slayer and some
gothic or metal band named Slayer. Point is I gave up even trying to look for episodes
because I don't have enough time to devote to sifting through all the other garbage.
But I will say that they show was definitely good enough that should I come across
the means to watch the entire series easily, I certainly would like to. The show had
some pretty good animation and decent storylines also. The voice acting was terrible
but that's to be expected.

To be fair my judgment is entirely based on just a handful of episodes I watched in
order and a bunch I have seen out of order, but I would recommend checking it out it's
a good show if you can get your hands on it.
